What the site collects

The Offset project intake collects your name, work email, company, product or company link, product stage, engagement interest, budget range, milestone, and the high-level project context you choose to provide. The OffsetMargin intake collects your path, company or target URL, product URL, revenue and price bands, suspected pressure areas, optional margin or warranty context, name, role, email, and requested action.

The site also records source route, referrer when supplied by your browser, submission time, and a one-way technical fingerprint used to limit form abuse. The public forms do not accept file uploads.

How the information is used

Offset uses submitted information to evaluate fit, respond to your inquiry, scope a possible engagement, preserve acquisition-source context, prevent form abuse, and maintain a reliable record of the request. Information is not sold.

Storage and email delivery

Each valid submission is stored in the site’s protected database before an owner notification is attempted. After storage, the visitor’s browser sends the same structured submission to Web3Forms for email delivery to kendall@offsetinventions.com; this avoids routing every visitor through one shared server address. If that notification is interrupted, Offset retains the stored copy. Web3Forms may process and temporarily retain form data under its service terms. The hosting platform may also process ordinary request and security logs.

Confidential information

Do not submit BOMs, supplier contracts, customer or consumer personal data, support exports, confidential engineering files, payment-card data, or NDA-protected details through the public site. If an engagement advances, detailed information can move through a separately agreed private process.

Retention and access

Inquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate the opportunity, maintain business records, and protect the form from abuse. To request access, correction, or deletion, email kendall@offsetinventions.com. Legal or operational obligations may require limited retention.

Cookies and analytics

This version does not add a marketing analytics suite, advertising tracker, newsletter tracker, or account system. Essential platform behavior and security logs may still involve limited technical data.

Policy status

This is a practical first-pass notice for the current site behavior, not a substitute for legal advice. It should be reconciled with applicable law and any future analytics, CRM, or form-provider changes before those changes launch.
